Well not anymore thanks to the people at Showone! Much kudos for creating such a trouble free easy app to use for us bands that depends on tracks for live use! Hopefully some new features will come in future updates like volume control for tracks and new user interface for ipads. Still great the way it is, Love it! This is what we love to hear and why we made ShowOne!

Thanks for the kind words! And a dedicated iPad version, MIDI enhancements, and lots of other features are coming so stay tuned! Have been making midi sequences for over 30 years to use onstage, wanted to simplify my rig and this app does it after I record them as audio files. Works perfectly with Scarlett 6i6 to support 2 track audio with click on its own 3rd output.

Mac very simple Multi-track playback software

Great App and Great Developer! Just got the app and paid for the unlimited tracks and four channel upgrade. ShowOne makes it so easy! I was heading down the ableton path and it was a major pain to import the wav file and manually add click in order to separate the click to a different channel. Now I just have to make sure my wav file is clean with no lead in count or anything like that. I can trim if needed in ShowOne and having the ability to add the same cue for every song is huge. Plus being ale to adjust and save volume is huge too for consistency. The native instruments interface is coming Monday and I should be totally set!

Planning to put my drummer in charge of the tracks during gigs.

App Store Preview. This app is only available on the App Store for iOS devices.

Description ShowOne is a pro app for musicians who use backing tracks live. Well reviewed by the New York Times and Wired, AmpKit is a high-powered package of effects, multi-track recording, online sharing, tuner, and metronome. The software is well-built with low latency and great performance. Recent versions of the app get very high reviews.

It provides guides to scales, breaks down the chord changes, then gives you five jam-along tracks to begin with. Additional tracks require In-App Purchases. Chordbot is part songwriting tool and part practice tool. You can create your own backing tracks by selecting chords to create a chord progression, than selecting a comping pattern.

Using these building blocks, you can create your own sections, loops, or entire song structures. This can help for songwriting, or just for creating a groove to solo over. It gets high marks for being well laid out and easy to use. Try the free Chordbot Lite version first to get a feel for it. Similar to AmpKit, JamUp Pro is a multi-purpose app with effects, amp modeling, a phrase sampler, and the ability to access tracks from your iTunes library for jamming along.

The JamPlay app is put out by the same folks at JamPlay.
